A free TuneIn alternative — live radio with no account

Claims about TuneIn checked on . Sources are linked at the bottom.

TuneIn is the best-known internet radio app, and for live sport it is genuinely hard to beat. If you came here looking for something cheaper, or something that does not ask you to make an account before you can listen, this page lays out the differences as plainly as we can — including the ones that do not favour us.

What TuneIn costs

As of 11 September 2026, TuneIn’s own pricing page lists Premium at $9.99/month or $79.99/year, after a 7-day free trial, alongside a free tier at $0.00/month. Premium is built around commercial-free news, live NHL and college sport, audiobooks, and — in TuneIn’s own words — “Less Ads Across All Stations”.

What we charge, and what the free tier is

Every station on OnlineRadio plays for free, in the browser, without an account. Premium is $4.99/month or $49.99/year with a 14-day trial, and it removes ads, lifts the favourites limit, and adds offline podcast episodes. The pricing page shows the price in your own currency, and it is published on the web rather than only inside an app.
